PRIVATE PERU TOUR 3
Includes one Way to machu Picchu by the Luxurious Hiram Bingham Train
5day/4night tour in Private service with entrance tickets, guided tours, airport transfers, bus and train tickets and accommodation
Destination background
Cuzco was the ancient capital of the Incas which was subsequently built upon by the Spanish Conquistadores in the 16th century who erected grand colonial mansions and beautiful cathedrals and churches. Considered the most important pre-colonial city in the Americas it is also the gateway to Machu Picchu, the new seventh wonder of the world. Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas, was a religious centre built on the saddle of a mountain high in the Andes and which today is accessed by train or for the more adventurous by a 4 day trek popularly known as the Inca Trail. This tour is ideal for those who have limited time but who wish to explore the very highlights of Peru. We do encourage you to spend extra days in Cuzco with a possible extra night at Machu Picchu.
